Along the top of the screen is the menu bar. All Desk+Plus programs, such as
the Configure program, takes over control of the menu bar. If the program
does not need to use it, it will be empty. Otherwise, it will display what-
ever pull-down menus it uses.
In the case of the Configure program, it has two pull-down menus: FILE and
CONFIGURE.
The FILE menu gives you options on saving the new desktop configuration or
restoring the previous one. Also, it lets you exit the program and return
to the desktop with either saving the new configuration or not. Of course,
you can exit the program by clicking on the CLOSE box in the Configure
window.
The CONFIGURE menu has two sections. The first section is for general
settings. You can turn these on or off by clicking on them. A diamond next
to the option indicates that it is on. The second section allows you to
setup various desktop settings such as the use of screen savers, setting
the time and date, useing Pkzip files, and useing a graphics viewer.
